      My wife bought a stand mixer from the Shopping Channel about a year ago. Definitely worth it, but the thing I don’t like about it, is that the bowl moves up and down. You don’t want one of those. If you’re going to invest in one of these, buy the one where the mix arm lifts up from the bowl. Why? When you’re adding ingredients to your mixing bowl, when the bowl moves down, there isn’t enough room to get your measuring cup inside, so you’re only adding ingredients to one side of the bowl. Another thing is that your beater is not completely out of the bowl. This one has a tilt-head, so you’ll be ahead of the game with this baby.
