      Hilary: For promotions where the cashier is in charge of the reward (like this one), it’s AFTER coupons.

      The fine print on the coupon says “… use for payment on your purchase of $50 or more before taxes and after discounts and redemptions”. If discounts includes coupons, then the subtotal probably has to be $50 after coupons.
