Shoppers Drug Mart Canada: 20x Points WUS $50+

    1. Vicky says:

If your coupons are rung in as 2001 (not FPC which is 2002 or store coupons which can be 2004 and some other ones), you get points on the total pre coupons. Susan – if it shows your points at 500 you are over $50 and should get the points!

I tried to get the 20 x points on my purchase that was $58 before coupons and the manager even said no it has to be after coupons. So we tried without adding something and sure enough no 20x the points. So she refunded the whole transaction and we added something to make it over $50

senpogi: The register doesn’t matter. Don’t listen to the cashier. They are wrong. Do it anyway and you will see that you will get your points.

I’m just really wondering… how can you visually see the difference of their old pos computer and their new computer … or is there no way to find out unless you do trial and error … my cashier keep on saying its $50 after coupons … and I haven’t tried 50 before coupons … any ideas???

    5. Marianne T. says:

@Maria, gift cards and some other items are excluded from the bonus points. But if you buy the Shoppers Card, you get the points for spending $50 in the store … then you use the card to pay for your 20X purchases. It’s all explained clearly in the Shoppers Optimum Guide linked to above.

    6. Maria says:

So if you buy a $50.00 Shoppers Card, do you get the double the points?

    7. Cassie says:

      Whoops, fixed it. Thank you!

    8. Amie says:

Mrs. J, I think the date may be wrong ;)
