    Gymboree Canada Deals (85% Savings!)

Yesterday I went shopping at the mall with a friend and for some reason, I was drawn into Gymboree. I never usually go in there, because I find them extemely expensive. But – something was telling me to go in the store, so we went in and looked around.

I knew that they were having their “Fill-a-bag, get 30% off” sale, and decided to check out their clearance racks.

I found a bunch of really cute clothing for around $5 a piece. With the 30% off, the prices were right around my target price for kids’ clothing.

When I went to check out, I was told that most of the clothing I was purchasing was from last year’s line or was winter apparel and because of that, it was an extra 20% off!

Here’s what I ended up purchasing:

    1x Halloween Tutu
    1x Infant Girl Swimsuit
1x Black Velour Infant Girl Jacket
    1x Infant Girl Gingerbread Onesie
    1x Infant Girl Gingerbread Dress
1x Infant Girl Brown Polkadot Dress
1x Infant Girl Red Polkadot Pants
1x Infant Girl White Polkadot Pants
1x Infant Girl Fuzzy Pink Pants
    1x Infant Girl Pink Onesie
    1x Toddler Boy Striped Shirt
    3x Toddler Boy Long-Sleeved Shirt
    1x Girl’s Red Boots
    1x Girl’s Brown Boots

Total value of items = $468.30 (Ridiculous!)
    Total paid OOP = $68.53
    Savings of 85%

      Yay you!

You’ll love the re-sale value too!

Elizabeth: I will certainly be checking it out more often!

So, will you be checking out Gymboree more often? It’s definitely possible to get the better-than-Walmart prices when you shop carefully! Parents magazine often has the coupons as well, but not this past month.

Love the quality of Gymboree… I have two boys, one 6 months, one three years. I know it might not be quite as much fun shopping for boys, but it’s much easier to buy separates. Too often, the girls’ clearance stuff is picked over and it’s hard to find matching sets. With boys, it’s jeans, pants, plaid shorts, and tops, and they mix and match. At Gymboree, the boys’ stuff is cuter and of better quality than most of the other stores’ boys’ stuff. You’ll love having the ability to resell it, too, and have buyers swarm to the brand name.

I stopped at Please Mum today, too. I don’t usually like the store, but the 5 items for $15 on prior season merchandise was worth it. Bought next year’s swim trunks, along with sweats, a hoodie (Vancouver 2010 — I know it’s behind us, but it was in Canada and the quality of the hoodie is beautiful), a pair of pyjamas, and a long-sleeved top.

Stopped at Sears as well. Bought a pair of boys’ Sorel winter boots for about $12 after the 25% off of clearance. They’re normally $60 at regular price. They have the nice felt liners in them, too.

No you dont have tofillthe bag it is just 30percent off anything

    5. Maria says:

I got $500 worth of gymboree clothing as well. with 10 gymbucks. It is enought for my daughter and son for 3 winters. got 2T-4T. Mostly I got is $2. -4 per piece.

    6. Amy Sylvester says:

I mainly shop Gymboree – the quality is (almost always) excellent. As you can tell from your finds, it’s a bit less exciting if you have boys. I have found an excellent way to make the most of their deals – there’s a magazine called “Parenting” that very often has a 20% off coupon. Gymboree allows you to use TWO deals!!!! For example, the fill-a-bag at 30% AND the 20% coupon. All the while still earning Gymbucks (if it’s Gymbucks time) for a future purchase. Shopping off season for larger sizes, and avoiding the full price (new arrivals) section is key, but I am always proud of my Gymboree purchases.

    7. Carolyn says:

I always shop at Gymboree. The clothes are better quality meaning I get more wear out of it. I have some clothes that have been worn by 2 kids and still look good enough to resell for a good price. If you wait for sales and past season lines you can get great prices. You should also have been given Gymbucks to redeem in July for up to $25 off a $50 purchase. And if you get a rewards card you get extra sales and rebates off your purchases

    8. CaseMaster says:

how does the fill a bag sale work? do you have do fill a whole bag with merchandise in order to get the 30% off?

    9. Christine says:

That is so awesome!! Clothes for the year ahead, and a fantastic deal!
