Shoppers Drug Mart Deals Feb 2013

Instead of price matching, I decided to stop in at Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up the things that were on sale there.
I figured I could look for tear pad coupons while I was there (that`s always fun). I didn`t find anything new, though.

Here are the deals I picked up:

    Shoppers Drug Mart Deals

    2x Peek Freans Cookies @ $1.99 each = $3.98 – 2x $1 rebate = $1.98 (saved = approx. $6)
    1x Motrin @ $3.99 – $3 coupon from tear pads = $0.99 (saved = approx. $6)
    2x Cottage Cheese @ $1.99 each = $3.98 (saved = approx. $3.60)
    2x Garnier Body Lotion @ $2.99 each = $5.98 – 2x $2 mail out coupons = $1.98 (saved = approx. $14)
1x Milk @ $4.29 (my Walmart didn`t have the milk that was on sale, so I had to get it at SDM)
    2x Eggs @ $1.99 each = $3.98 – $1 WUB2 eggs coupon = $2.98 (saved = approx. $3)
    Tax @ $1.30

Total value of products = $50.10
    Total Paid = $17.50
    Savings of 65%

Loblaws had a bunch of tear-pad coupons for save $2 WUB the Garnier lotion. They were smartsource coupons so you can use them anywhere. I’ll be heading to Shoppers to buy a bunch of the smaller size for $1 each =)
Thanks for teaching us this, Mrs January!

      Hey Cassie,
Make sure you submit your receipt to Checkout51 for your bag of Neilson milk this week!

    3. Caroline M. says:

don’t worry you wouldn’t have qualified for the gift card anyway, according to my math your total purchase before coupons was only about 26$

Where can we use the egg coupon ($1 wub 2)? Is it SDM only? Tried to use it in Walmart and got rejected.

I have used this coupon at grocery store (FreshCo) and SDM with no problem. Try again…it could have been just that cashier.

Hey Cassie just curious why you wouldn’t go for their deal this week and get a 20.00 gas card. I thought that seemed like a good deal.

      2x Garnier Body Lotion @ $2.99 each = $5.98 – 2x $2 mail out coupons = $1.98 (saved = approx. $14)

How did you calculate your savings on the Garnier to be $14? This would imply that the regular cost of one is $7 + $2.99 = $9.99. I didn’t think they were that expensive and especialy not the smaller sized ones which were the ones on sale.

How many Shoppers Optimum points gained on this trip?

    8. Margaret says:

I thought you can get cash back ($1) for any Neilson milk through Checkout 51.

    9. Kim says:

Plus, it was a double points day..my bill was $48 with my other purchases, I saved almost $70, and earned 6000 points.

    10. Kim says:

I know that the Garnier lotion was on sale 3 weeks ago for the same price. The week after, the larger size was on for 4.99. I bought the smaller on sale for $2.99, and Shoppers had the tear pad coupons – save $3 WUB 2. I bought 8 x $1.50 = $12. I saved almost $36!
