Dude…you should have just asked me for a toddler toothbrush and toothpaste…I have sooooooooo many

So I went to Walmart tonight and had such an issue using the coupons for block cheese. First the cashier called her supervisor who thought that because it was “black” diamond and the coupons said “block” cheese that it couldn’t be used. Then she called her supervisor who then said that they were concerned that Walmart wouldn’t be reimbursed…and I said that the coupon clearly states ANY block of cheese…so they relented and let me use them. What was funny, the people in-line behind me kept saying…it’s a block of cheese! However…it was frustrating and am noe wondering do I use the other “block” cheese coupons?

    3. Jaclyn says:

      Excellent! Thanks Cassie!!

    4. Cassie says:

Jaclyn: No, it means any block cheese, packaged or not. As far as the store brands, Walmart allows you to price match store brand for store brand. :)

    5. Jaclyn says:

Hey just wondering about the cheese coupon from the ziploc
Packages, I have tried to use them before but have been told each time that they are for fresh cheese blocks not packaged bars, just wondering if you have ever had a problem using them? I have not been able to use any of mine for the packaged cheese bars:(
Also I see often that you are able to price match items that are not the same brand like with the eggs from Shoppers Drug Mart it is advertised as Everyday Market eggs and obviously Walmart does not carry them so how do you do that? I would love to be able to just go to one store I always end up going to two or three stores. Thanks so much Cassie!

    6. Monica says:

Cassie, I couldn’t tell which toothbrush you bought, but if you are not brand loyal, LOL, Walmart out west here sells a box with 4 inside (toddler brushes) for the same price as 1. I can’t remember what brand it was (we’re on our last brush and the brushes themselves don’t have the manufacturer name) but it’s a recognizable brand.

And yes, there was a $1 coupon for orajel kid’s toothpaste in an insert last month.

Also, my SDM doesn’t price match. Does that vary store, to store??
