We all went out to do a bit of shopping at No Frills last night. Kaylee loves riding in the shopping cart now that she’s big enough. She squeals in delight every time we push her in one!
I learned two things about No Frills during this shopping trip:
- #1 – Many locations don’t put the 50% pink stickers on products. You should always check the expiration dates on perishable items yourself. I almost always find some type of produce item that is expiring in a day or two, and it rarely has a pink sticker on it.
- #2 – Discount sticker items are automatically deducted at the cash register if an item is going to be expiring in the next 2 days, so you don’t even have to ask for the discount (watch the register though – just in case!).
