Since I’d already picked up all of my coupon deals during my Walmart shopping trip with Global News, all we needed to get today was some produce.
Richard went over to the store for me, while I caught up on some work that was left undone due to how hectic yesterday was.
I forgot to tell him to pick up some sugar, brown sugar and chocolate chips as well, so I will have to get those later. I need to stock up for the rest of the year while the prices are low!

Thanks to some new medication, my morning sickness has been easing up on me a bit and my appetite is returning full force. I want to eat everything in sight!
I’m not going to do anything elaborate for meals this week, just so I can get back into the swing of things, but I did pick a few of our favourite meals to whip up.
It’s rare when we actually eat every single thing on our menu plan, but this week looks so good, that I think we just might be able to do it!

Have you heard of Pinterest?
If not, Pinterest is an online portal where you can “tag” your favourite photos from all over the web and stick them into categories on your page.
I set my page up awhile back and have had so much fun looking through all of the inspirational things that others have posted. I have a bunch of decorating, cooking and organizing ideas (amongst others) that I can’t wait to try out!
Unfortunetely, right now Pinterest is available by invitation only. If you are interested in creating an account on Pinterest, leave a comment on this post with your email address and I will send you an invitation.
So what are you waiting for? Come on over to Pinterest and join the fun!

Here are some details on the next Smart Source coupon insert, set to arrive at your home on August 27th (though some locations may receive it a few days earlier or later).
Smart Source coupon inserts can be found in your local newspapers. They are available every 3 weeks or so and they are almost always with your free weekly fliers – but they come with a few paid subscription newspapers as well.

Erica was visiting today and this evening (before Big Brother – I am SO into that show!) we decided to make a short trip to Walmart to see if we could spot some deals… and we sure did!
I’m so glad I found the deli meat. My coupons were about to expire and even though I’m not a fan of pre-packaged deli meat – it was FREE, and you all know I can’t pass up a freebie! I’m sure I can pass them off to a family member or friend.
