    Boneless Chicken Wings

This is one of my favourite recipes. My husband is the one that actually makes these “wings”, because I have to admit, he’s better at it than I am. I am kind of terrified of deep-frying.

You can use any type of sauce for these, but we love spicy chicken wings so we usually use a spicy sauce.

    Boneless Chicken Wings

    • Servings: 2-3

    Ingredients:

    • Oil For Deep Frying
    • Dash of Pepper
    • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
    • Dash of Garlic Powder
    • 3/4-1 Cup Flour
    • 1/4 Cup Butter
    • 1/4 Cup Hot Sauce
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 Cup Milk
    • 2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, Cut into Small Strips/Chunks

    Instructions:

    1. Combine butter, hot sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a small pot over low heat. Stir together until butter is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
    2. Heat oil in large pot until it reaches about 375F.
    3. Whisk together egg and milk.
    4. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then flour. Repeat.
    5. Fry each chicken piece in hot oil for about 5 minutes, or until juices run clear.
    6. Pour sauce created in step #1 over cooked chicken, mixing to coat.

I have a similar recipe but I omit the egg…..just mix spices with flour and add wings, then YOU MUST let the wings sit in the flour/spice mixture in the frig for at least 30 mins. AMAZING! I’ve had people try these and ask “where I order from” lol

Miranda: I don’t eat at Boston Pizza, so I am not sure!

How do these compare to Boston Pizza’s wings? They are my favorite and I’d love a copy-cat recipe!

I do a version of these a lot…love love love them! I omit the battering though and just bake the chicken pieces then saute in the garlic/butter/ hot sauce mixture…lower fat – no frying! Then I mix up some non fat greek yogurt with some crumbled blue cheese as a dip with some veggies too!
