Creamy Tomato Bacon Pasta Recipe

We eat pasta quite a bit at our house (usually once per week, at least), so I am always trying to come up with new pasta recipes that we can try.
This one was a real winner and we have decided that we actually prefer it to the regular ol’ pasta with tomato sauce that we usually make.
Creamy Tomato Bacon Pasta (Click here to print this recipe.)
Ingredients:
- 1 Pound Pasta, Cooked
- 1/2 Cup Feta Cheese, Crumbled
- 1/2 Small Onion, Minced
- 4 Tablespoons Chicken Broth
- 10 Strips Bacon, Chopped
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- 1 Cup Whipping Cream
- 3-4 Cups Tomato Sauce
- Salt & PepperInstructions:
1. Cook bacon and onion in a frying pan until browned. Drain out excess fat and add chicken broth and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer on low for about 10 minutes.2. Add cream, sugar, sour cream, feta cheese and salt & pepper (just a few shakes of each is good) and let simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
3. Serve over cooked pasta.
Makes 4-6 servings.
