Easy Buttermilk Biscuits Recipe

Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients:
- 4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of buttermilk
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- 8 teaspoons of baking powder
- 8 tablespoons of COLD butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Combine dry ingredients in a large, shallow bowl.

3. Slice butter into thin pats. Place the butter in the bowl and cut into the flour mixture until it looks crumbly.

4. Pour in the buttermilk and stir until just combined.

5. Roll out onto a well-floured surface and cut into 2″ rounds and place on an ungreased baking sheet.

6. Bake for 18 minutes or until they start to brown.
