    Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

    • Makes 16 balls.

    Ingredients:

    - 1 Package Peanut Butter Cookies – With Creamy Center (About 20 Cookies)
    - 1/2 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter
    - 2 Cups Chocolate Chips (Any Kind You Like)

    Instructions:

    1. Put cookies in your food processor and grind until they are a fine crumble.

    2. Mix cookies and peanut butter and form into small balls.

    3. In a small saucepan, fill with water (about half) and place a small bowl on top. Pour the chocolate chips in the bowl and turn the burner on to HIGH.

    4. Once chocolate is melted, dip your peanut butter balls and place them on a cookie sheet. Put in the fridge for a few hours so the chocolate can harden. Enjoy!

APple – I actually used the Pirate cookies. The hard ones with the soft creamy center. And no, I am no longer comfortable posting our monthly budget. I’m sorry! I hope that the other financial posts that I have lined up will be just as helpful for you!

Eeyah – I think they are called Pirate… yep, I used those. And I love your cookie idea. Thanks! Mmmmm..

      aatlaantis – Yep, Pirate. :)

I was also wondering what a cream centered peanut butter cookie was, and was thinking of pirate cookies, but not sure….

    5. Eeyah says:

Yeah, I wanna know too! What kinda cookie?? I am thinking maybe the Mr. Christie Pirate cookies (I think that’s what they are called).

Side note… one Pirate cookie + one Fudge-o + smush together = similar to Reece PB cups. Frugal and yet still just as unhealthy as the original! lol!

    6. APple says:

Thanks for the recipe…but what type of cookies do you use to make this? Would this work with homemade cookies?

ps.. are you no longer blogging your monthly budget? I miss reading that (in a non stocker kind of way of course…lol) because I found it helpful when doing my own budget?

      Thanks!
