Vanilla French Toast with Maple Bacon Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Milk
- 8 Eggs
- 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- 12 Slices of Bread
- 1 Package Bacon
- Maple Syrup
- 3 Cups Crushed Cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats, Corn Flakes, etc.)
- 4 Tablespoons ButterInstructions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Arrange bacon on cookie sheet and top with brown sugar and pepper. Bake until crisp, about 20 minutes.
2. Pre-heat a large frying pan over medium heat.
3. In a shallow dish, beat together eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. In another shallow dish combine cereal and almonds.
4. Add 2 tablespoons butter to your frying pan and coat 4 slices of bread in egg, then in cereal and almonds. Cook slices for about 3 minutes on each side and transfer to cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining slices and then bake for 12 minutes.
5. Serve with maple syrup.
