    Recipe for Garlic Cheddar Biscuits.

    Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

I’m always looking for an easy biscuit recipe to pair with chilis, soups and stews, and this one seems to be the one I end up making the most. It’s just SO easy – and seriously – how can you go wrong with cheese & garlic?

Delicious! I must warn you though, it’s hard to eat just one, so make plenty!

Jessica: Aww, you are very sweet, thank you! I’m so happy that you have found the site to be informative.. and very glad you and your hubby liked the biscuits. :)

I made these last night with dinner! I was running low on ingredients but luckily I had half a cup of bisquick left so I was able to make 4, 2 each for my hubby and I. We both LOVED them!

PS Huge fan of your site! I am new to couponing, I started couponing in November, I have found your site the most useful and informative compared to other sites out there, so much so that I skip them all together now :) I was in Walmart a last week and the clerk was really nice and got excited for my coupons and asked me where I get my coupons and how I started, I told her go to MrsJanuary.com, she has it all right there! Keep up the great work!

Made these biscuits last night and they were delicious! I doubled the recipe on account of the “can’t eat just one” warning and they turned out great. The amount of melted butter was a bit much though. I didn’t use all the butter even for a double batch. Thanks for such a simple recipe…it’s a keeper!

I just made these and they were absolutely fantastic!!

Thanks Carrie, I don’t buy Bisquick – not worth it for me, would rather make the dough myself. Just a little bit of a pain to have to measure how much mix there is to then add in the butter. Or I guess I could just slowly do it to texture, not that I’ve ever made these before so I wouldn’t know teh end consistency. Experimentation I guess.

      Thanks Ms. January

I made this recipe tonight, combining your recipe with Carrie’s home “bisquick” mix. It was a hit with my family, perfect with my homemade soup. I incorporated ground flax seed for its health benefits and part whole wheat flour .
Thanks for sharing. I never made this before.

    9. Diana says:

I discovered these yummy biscuits quite a few years back actually. My family loves them and they are so quick and easy. I found this recipe in my Betty Crocker cookbook, it’s called Betty Crocker’s New Cookbook; Everything you need to know to cook. It was published in 1991(I think) and is falling apart I’ve used it so much over the years.

I like the idea of having the base of the recipe prepared in advance. In my home we try to stick to food that is not prepackaged in any form. Expense is one reason, but I do like to know what is in the food I eat. I might use some whole wheat in this recipe.

we call these “Red Lobster ” biscuits at our house.. they taste justlike the ones we get at Red Lobster

    12. Elizabeth says:

I have used Bisquick in the past for various recipes, but just find the expense is absolutely unnecessary. I use Barley Flour for pancakes, and mix of whole wheat/white flour for making biscuits. The biscuits are prepped and baked and ready to eat in 30 minutes.

I have wanted to try something like this, i will give it a go tonight with my beef chilli! Thanks to Carrie for the homemade Bisquik recipe too, saves so much making it yourself! Thanks ladies! =)
