We are big rice eaters in this house (we prefer it over potatoes), and this is one of those side dishes that never gets old.
The flavour of this rice is so mouth-watering, I can eat a bowl of it just on it’s own – but we usually serve it with meat (any kind works well) and fresh veggies.
It couldn’t be easier to make this recipe, either. Who says delicious food has to be difficult to make?
Lemon & Herb Rice
- Servings: 3
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Cup Basmati Rice
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
- 3 Cups Chicken Broth
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Basil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
Instructions:
- Add rice, lemon juice, chicken broth, salt, pepper, basil, rosemary, garlic powder and onion powder to a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, for about 20 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve.
