Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Here is one of the easiest recipes ever! Even a brand new cook can easily whip together this warm bowl of goodness in just minutes. This pumpkin pie oatmeal is perfect for cold mornings (and especially if you’re in a rush!).

Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 Cup Water
  • 2/3 Cup Plant Milk (I used Soy)
  • 2/3 Cup Oats (Quick Cooking)
  • 1/4 Cup Canned Pumpkin (NOT Pie Filling)
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Flax Seed (Optional)
  • Handful of Nuts (Optional)
  • Sweetener of Choice (I use about 1 Tablespoon Agave)

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients, except nuts, to a medium saucepan and cook on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until oats are cooked to your liking.
  2. Serve, topped with nuts (if desired).
