Blueberry Maple Refrigerator Oatmeal

Recipe for Refrigerator Oatmeal.

Refrigerator Oatmeal Blueberry Maple

I have found my new favourite breakfast (after bacon and eggs, that is) – refrigerator oatmeal. This is a recipe I found on The Yummy Life a few weeks ago and I have been experimenting with different flavour combinations ever since.

This blueberry maple oatmeal is my favourite so far, with strawberry vanilla coming in at a close second. This meal is healthy, filling and very easy to make – with zero effort in the morning!

Blueberry Maple Refrigerator Oatmeal

  • Servings: 1

  • 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Thick Yogurt (I used Coconut yogurt to make it vegan)
  • 1/3 Cup Milk (I used almond, but use whatever you have on hand)
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Dried Chia Seeds
  • 2 Teaspoons Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberries

  1. In a half pint mason jar, add rolled oats, yogurt, milk, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Put the lid back on, shake to combine ingredients, and then remove lid and add blueberries. Stir until mixed throughout.
  2. Put the lid back on and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours. This recipe will last up to 2 days in the refrigerator.

We’ve been using the recipe from your site for the hot homemade oatmeal and it’s by far the best we’ve had. Going to have to add this to my must try list, sounds delicious.

Off topic a bit, but we recently bought a tub of Skotidakis Greek sour cream from Costco, it is absolutely amazing!! It tastes like a super rich, full fat sour cream at 9 per cent. Can be uses straight out of the tub and perfect for baking as well.

So glad you like the oatmeal recipe! That’s so funny you mentioned the feta cheese, we just bought it for the first time last week and I love it so much.
