Knowing when a sale price is actually a good deal can be hard. Keep track of the regular prices of items at your favourite store(s), so that when you see sale prices, you can compare them to the regular prices and determine if they are actually a good deal or not.

Hi, we will make FlyerOnFire available for all cities in Ontario in the near future, in the meantime you can still use it as some of the available flyers are valid throughout the province, such us Food Basics, Future Shop and Metro.
Thanks Cassie! I started one, but it wasn’t very organized, so I gave up! Will definitly be using yours!!!
@Valorie – cool! I didn’t know this existed!!
@Valorie – that seems so cool!
Being newbie couponer, I find myself ALWAYS asking myself “Is this even a good deal? Is it a stock up price?” It gets frustrating after a while because I’m never sure if I’m saving the right amount of money. I wish there was something out there that told you the best sale price for an item for each area. So for example – in Toronto the best I’ve seen Gain come on sale is $4, etc. It would make this couponing thing so much easier!
@Valorie: That’s really neat. I haven’t heard about that in Toronto, but think it’s a great idea if someone could get that going.
I would love to know about it if there is a site like that!
Thanks Cassie, very helpful.
Thank you for this!
Not sure if you have a website in your area or not but I use this one for the Ottawa area.
You can search for a specific item to see if it is on sale and what the lowest price is. I am not
working right now so have lots of time on my hands so I also search for every item I have a coupon for each week.

Hope this helps some Ottawa area folks.
