      I don’t understand why birthday parties need a theme anymore? I think throwing a party is a waste of money, and pointless for kids under 4 anyways.

      My 7 year old doesn’t even want a party anymore, he would rather have a couple of friends over for a sleepover.

      My 5 and 2 year old don’t care either.

      People that throw parties for their kids under 4, are solely doing it for themselves and no one else! I did it for my first as well, and all it was, were my friends and family. Spent a fortune on cakes, “loot bags”, and food.

      Agreed! The live goldfish is the worst idea. At least if you got a live ladybug at the ladybug party, that would be useful in the garden. And you can buy ladybugs at some garden centres, lol.
