Richard has been complaining that there is never anything good in the house to bring for lunch. I admit that alot of the stuff we have right now is JUNK, but most of that is leftover from Elliott’s birthday party. So I stayed up way too late last night coming up with our weekly menu (I have really been slacking in this department and REALLY need to get back into it!) and ALSO made Richard a weekly lunch menu. 4 of his lunches will be leftovers and 1 of them will be made up of random fruit, veg, snacks and hard boiled eggs.
The grocery bill is pretty high this week because of all the ingredients I had to buy for this week’s menu, and because we had to stock up on things like parmesan cheese and spices. I also spent over $20 on a 24 pack of Rubbermaid storage containers for Richard’s lunches, since the ones we currently have are falling apart.
I included the school supplies that I bought in the photo because I think they were great deals and wanted to showcase them (no one in school here – the crayons are for Elliott and his cousin and the paper and stuff is for meeeeeeeeee) – so obviously what I paid for them will not be coming out of the grocery budget!
