6 Ways To Make Money Online In Canada

Make Money Online

I am often asked how to make money online, and although there are many ways to do so, this is not something that is easy.

There is no possible way to “get rich quick”, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. If you want to make money online, it’s going to take awhile to make more than a few dollars, and it’s going to involve quite a bit of work. Lots and lots of actual work. If you don’t treat your online endeavor as a job, you’re not going to make much money. It’s that simple.

However, if you’re not afraid of working hard, you can earn a decent income online. Here are a few ways to make money online in Canada.

1. Sell Stuff

There are many places that you can sell things online, including Kijiji, Craigslist, Ebay, and Amazon.

You can sell pretty much anything you want on these sites. It’s very easy to make money by getting rid of things around the house that you no longer need. My personal favourite website is Kijiji because it is free to list things for sale and the site is very easy to use.

2. Sell Homemade Goods on Etsy

Are you crafty? If so, you should really consider selling your stuff on Etsy – one of the best sites for selling homemade goods. There are a ton of members and visitors that visit this website every day to see what’s new, so you will have a large audience that you can sell your products to.

Check out this great post to learn how to increase your chances of selling your goods: 10 Tips for Selling on Etsy.

3. Become a Freelance Writer

There are many websites out there that will actually pay you to speak your mind. If you are knowledgeable about certain things (finance, child care, housekeeping, etc.), there is likely a company that is looking for someone like you to write articles for their website, magazine or newspaper.

Wise Bread is one company that I would recommend looking into.

4. Start a Blog

Before I say anything about blogging, please note that you should NOT start a blog to make money. You should start a blog because you love to write and share with others. If you do this, eventually the money will come. It just takes awhile.

There are many ways that you can make money with your blog: Google Adsense, private advertising, affiliate marketing (such as Amazon Associates), eBooks and more.

Here are a few more tips on blogging for money.

5. Use Swagbucks

Using Swagbucks is a great way to earn “money” online. All you have to do is use their search engine and you will earn “bucks”. Once you have enough of those bucks you can trade them in for cash (through Paypal) and/or gift cards to local and online stores.

Be sure to check out my article on how to earn Swagbucks faster.

6. Complete Surveys

There are many reputable survey sites such as Survey Junkie, Opinion Outpost, and Cash Crate that you can work for.

Don’t expect to make a whole bunch of money taking online surveys. You will often only be able to earn pocket change.

That money can go toward a monthly treat (a specialty coffee, a new book, etc.), though, so it may be worth the small amount of time it takes to complete these surveys.

Making money online is very hard. I didn’t start making much money myself until I’d been blogging for over 2 years!

Although it does take time (like any other job), there is something so rewarding about being able to work online from your own home (or anywhere you can get an internet connection). Maybe it’s the fact that you get to live in your pajamas (not that you should!), take breaks whenever you want and be your own boss – those are some of the things I love about my job!

The main thing to remember is that if you want to make anything more than pocket change online, you absolutely must treat your job as a job – not as a hobby.

Hello everyone, this site is really refreshing because of the candidness I noticed in the posts. I was wondering if you give high marks for the RevShare model. There is a new program called My24HourIncome slated to launch on August 14. I am sure you heard of Drew Burton, he is the founder, and Canadian by the way. He’s attempting to do away with most of the pitfalls of the revshare programs, mainly longevity and more importantly the phenomenon of members accumulating vast amounts of money only to find out the money is not cashable. Drew wants members to earn real money, and Not “Monopoly Money”. Active members would buy advertising packs and cash them in in 24 hours at a profit withdrawn daily. Your thoughts on this? I finally decided to read one of these articles in an internet
newsgroup describing how to make $50,000.00 in only one month from a $5.00 investment.

Of course I thought this was ridiculous ,or some type of pyramid. Im the type of person whos tried all online surveys and found out that it doesn’t work. But, hey, what’s $5.00.

Markus Valppu says he made $57,883 in four weeks. Dave Manning claims he made $53,664 in the same amount of time. Dan Shepstone says it was only $17,000 for him. Do I know these folks? No, but when I read how they say they did it, it made sense to me. Enough sense that I’m taking a similar chance with $5 of my own money. Not a big chance, I admit–but one with incredible potential, because $5 is all anyone ever invests in this system. Period. That’s all Markus, Dave, or Dan invested, yet their $5 netted them tens of thousands of dollars each, in a safe, legal, completely legitimate way.

Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

STEP 1. Invest your $5 by writing your name and address on five
separate pieces of paper along with the words: “PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR MAILING LIST.” (In this way, you’re not just sending a dollar to someone; you’re paying for a legitimate service.) Fold a $1 bill, money order, or bank note inside each paper, and mail them by standard U. S. Mail to the following five addresses:

1)- Matthew Kulbacki 1025 12th street Golden, CO, USA 80401
2)- Nikki Robinson 2324 Frederick Place Valdosta, GA 31602
    3)- Ross O’Brien 1040 pine lane Lafayette,CA 94549
4)- Brooke Frieman 2451 N. Rainbow blvd. Unit 89108, Las Vegas, NV 89108
5)- Chris Taylor, 6203 Orr Drive, Red Deer, AB T4P 4C1, CANADA

STEP 2. Now remove the top name from the list, and move the other names up. This way, #5 becomes #4 and so on. Put your name in as the fifth one on the list.

STEP 3. Post the article to at least 200 newsgroups. There are at least 17000 newsgroups at any given moment in time. Try posting to as many newsgroups as you can. Remember the more groups you post to, the more people will see your article and send you cash!

STEP 4. You are now in business for yourself, and should start seeing returns within 7 to 14 days! Remember, the internet is new and huge. There is no way you can lose.

Now here is how and why this system works: Out of every block of 200 posts I made, I got back 5 responses. Yes, that’s right, only 5. You make $5.00 in cash, not checks or money orders, but real cash with your name at #5. Each additional person who sent you $1.00 now also makes 200 additional postings with your name at #4, 1000 postings. On average then, 50 people will send you $1.00 with your name at #4,….$50.00 in your pocket! Now these 50 new people will make 200 postings each with your name at #3 or 10,000 postings. Average return, 500 people= $500. They make 200 postings each with your name at #2= 100,000 postings=5000 returns at $1.00 each=$5,000.00 in cash! Finally, 5,000 people make 200 postings each with your name at #1 and you get a return of $50,000 before your name drops off the list. And that’s only if everyone down the line makes only 200 postings each! Your total income for this one cycle is $55,000. From time to time when you see your name is no longer on the list, you take the latest posting you can find and start all over again. The end result depends on you. You must follow through and repost this article everywhere you can think of. The more postings you make, the more cash ends up in your mailbox. It’s too easy and too cheap to pass up!!!

Hi everyone, I tried doing a couple of surveys that state you can make extra cash by answering surveys, one being ipsos i-say, and to be honest I haven’t seen any cash back in my hand. Not in the form of a cheque, money order, or any kind of gift card at all. You have to fill out so many surveys in order to get enough points so you can use them on certain gift cards or items that one may like. You’d have to be sitting constantly infront of your computer filling out surveys but even then you can’t do that. They only give you so many to do and after your done doing the ones you are able to do, that’s right I said able cuz they only give certain surveys to certain people when it comes to the surveys. Your income might not be good enough or your job title might not be good enough, even if your not a shopper then you might not be able to do their surveys, to me that’s ridiculous and discrimination. It shouldn’t matter what a person income is, or their sex, if they grocery shop or not, if you drink or not and the list goes on. So I have decided to unsubscribe myself from i-say but they still keep sending me surveys to do. I’ve unsubscribe myself three times now and each time it has said that I was successful in unsubscribing, but yet I still receive the surveys and it’s not like it’s one or two, or even three, it’s more than 10-15 a day but when I was doing them I would qualify to do most of their surveys and now it’s driving me nuts but they won’t stop sending me the emails. So that’s one of the companies and there’s another one that’s like it so be aware of these survey people that see you can make money because to me it’s nothing but a hoax and a scam. Good luck and if anybody else can give me A better way of making money please let me know because those are great things just don’t work out and I could sure use the extra cash. Cheers
