CHEESY PENNE PASTA

Ingredients:
- 4 cups penne pasta
- Big bot of boiling water; salted
- 4 medium garlic cloves; finely minced
- 1/2 medium onion; finely minced
- 2 tbs. olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup canned tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar and/or mozzerella)
- salt and pepper to taste



Instructions:
1. Add pasta to boiling water.

2. Add olive oil and butter to large skillet on medium-high heat. Once butter is melted, add garlic and onions.

3. Once onions and garlic are soft and lightly browned, add chicken broth, tomato sauce and milk. Let stand for about 5-10 minutes, until thickened.

4. Add cheese, basil and salt and pepper. Drain pasta and add it to the sauce. Mix together, serve and enjoy!

Makes 4 servings
