  • 3 Weeks to a Spring Clean Home: Task #10 Update

I have to be honest – I almost didn’t complete today’s task. If it weren’t for you all here to hold me accountable, I don’t think I would have even bothered.

Cleaning the baseboards has to be one of the most boring chores on the planet. Unfortunately for me, ours were pretty filthy, so they needed to be cleaned.

I just used a wash cloth with warm soapy water for most of the baseboards in our house.

The really bad areas, like by the front door, got a bit of a scrubbing with an old toothbrush.

This is how I use some of my FREE toothbrushes!

I’m so glad this task is done and I can forget about it for another year!

Thank you all for the motivation and the great new tips, I too reuse all our old toothbrushes but found they always fall through my organizer rack under the sink. I never thought of using a mason jar to store them in. Thanks and the old bounce sheet tricks are great too, going to have to get a small rubbermaid to hold those babies in for now too. Thank you ladies.

    2. To clean ours I use old bounce sheets. I collect them all after they come out of the dryer, they are great for cleaning the baseboards and also the shower!

I do the same thing with our toothbrushes except I take our old ones when I change them out for new ones.. I have a mason jar on our kitchen sink that the kids know to place their old toothbrushes in so they can become mom’s NEW cleaning brushes :) lol
