Love my food processor and bread maker. We use both several times a week. I bought a KitchenAid mixer from Costco about 6 years ago but it came with the metal paddle and I put it in the dishwasher without reading the instructions and ruined it. I tried to order the white paddle but the size of this mixer is unique and the white paddle doesn't fit.

1. Can't be without my garlic crusher. Crushed garlic is so much tastier than chopped.

2. Love my Keurig. I don't use k-cups. Prefer to use my own coffee in the re-usable filters.

3. Pastry blender - can't make pie crust without it.

4. Starfrit can opener.

5. Egg and mushroom slicer. I also use it to slice strawberries.

I know I have more favourites, but will have to put my thinking cap on.

Mandolin slicer. I use it for slicing all the time, and when I need a knife, I have a large heavy chef's knife. A knife sharpener, nothing works as well as a sharp knife, and nothing is more frustrating than a dull knife.

My KitchenAid is so loved!! I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I also love my cookie scoops, parchment paper, my bread machine (I never make bread, but make dough all the time), and the rolling pin my mother got as a wedding shower gift 45 years ago....I use it all the time. Oh, and every kitchen needs what my kids call "the Happy Cookie Spoon" which is an extremely well-worn, to the point of absolute smooth finish, wooden spoon. :D

My go to items are: cast-iron frying pan, casserole dishes of various sizes, my cookbooks, my aprons (5 or 6 right now), my pots that were given to me by my Mom 40 yrs. ago, various kitchen tools like spatula, slotted spoon, etc., slow-cooker, stainless steel roast pan big enough to hold a 25 lb. turkey, muffin pans, cookie sheets & broiler pans and last but not least: my ancient old hickory butcher knife that cuts basically anything I want to cut or carve.

KitchenAid seems to be the magic word in my kitchen. You name it I have it. My newest addition is the meat grinder attachment for my KitchenAid mixer. And I couldn't survive without my Tassimo!
